Friendly reminder that high load factors do not necessarily indicate profitability.
So, good on NRT. I'll wait to see financials for the others.
My TWA-senses always have me suspicious of full FCO flights.

hey bro kinda cringe to crop the signature out of the stolen art
All of these nominees lie during the hearings and then do whatever they want after confirmation.
The fact this one can’t even lie in order to state fact tells you just how deep into TFG‘s crotch he is.
Sacramento was supposed to be an up-and-coming airport, rivaling Oakland in the Bay Area. Sad to see this given up on..
Will ECP return as a seasonal weekend only?

Seems really small equipment for this route. Obviously not a lot of cargo expected. Nor a lot of front cabin?
Remember when AA was operating 757s on this?
Always thought these were of questionable value - which international markets from YYZ and YUL have JFK as their best connecting itinerary? maybe there is some South America or Caribbean destination but the rest is available via Europe and likely easier.
KEF because it’s a dog route and Icelandic is exiting it so Delta no longer feels the need to operate?
Eliminating Europe connectors in mid summer is troubling - sure they can route over Atlanta but if these won’t work for summer, then when?
Nassau and Cancun cuts in summer aren’t troubling.
I’m so confuuuuuuuused!
Well this is unfortunate.
But I could see each of those routes return in the future. perhaps they’d do better with feed on one end or the other.
This is kind of an ‘FU’ To American, with Kirby basically saying “you’re crap and irrelevant and would be more useful broken up and distributed to other carriers” - cuz No way does all of AA fit into United. Delta, Southwest, Alaska, and Frontier would end up with large parts.
And possibly BOS and JFK to Athens. But not much else??
Not much market left for them in the US - proving once again that long-haul discount carriers don't work.
Were they receiving incentives that have since been exhausted?
Plus ITA is now on FCO-LAX, there's plenty of CDG-LAX. LGW I guess just doesn't generate traffic to/from the US.
But AA would have to give up PHL, ORD, DFW (or UA gives up IAH) and LAX. Maybe PHL.
One could make a pretty nice carrier with ORD, DFW, PHL, and PHX hubs and a LAX focus city...
Wonder why it's not working?
The GOP has made careers loudly criticizing every Democrat action over the past 30 years.
Everything.
A sneeze, a tan suit, giving Americans #Healthcare or condemning dictators.
Yet a felon, Putin puppet, child abuser/trafficker is sitting in the White House with very little condemnation.
This is where we are an it's getting worse.
All to get us into a horrible economy so we'll be too busy surviving to notice that the rich have gutted democracy, eliminated our rights and enriched themselves to grotesque levels.
These two quotes are intertwined now more than ever.
America is the bad place, thanks to 40+ years of the GOP driving the social agenda.
Where are they now?
The Media has been bought and paid for by the GOP. And what hasn't been bought has been intimidated into fear and silence.
Hegseth: "The war in Iran is protected by God."
Pope Leo XIV: "Do not involve the name of God in choices of death. God cannot be enlisted in darkness."
So, who else thinks the world cup in the United States will be a bust, as well as the 250 anniversary of the nation? Discuss.
This needs to be shown again - to remind everyone just how much hate the GOP, and especially the GOP that calls itself Christian, is capable of.
Their religion is hate, violence, racism, and punishment. There are no good qualities they adhere to.
This is a frequent terrorist tactic.
As do I
Even a lapsed Catholic knows this is serious blasphemy,
Also, we do know what the punishment for blasphemy is right?
Yet another commandment broken. Will the religious right finally break from this sinner?
The #EmolumentsClause obviously died at the beginning of his first presidency.
If only there were a legislative body who could hold the chief executive to the law.
America is now a nation of men, not of laws.
