we don't expect them to be like their predecessor(s). But we are oh so grateful for what the predecessors taught us. And they should be too. Thankfully their silliness keeps me from taking it all too seriously.

The times are frigid and make me want to stay in bed with the covers over my head. But it keeps coming up, offering hope at 15 below zero. One day at a time.
