Do I get a little zombie Jesus figurine?
Prompted by me finally finishing Kentucky Route Zero and loving it after bouncing off it a few times playing it on the small screen of my Switch. Minimalist art style, but there's still something different about seeing it big (with big sound for the gorgeous music).
I don't know how people play narrative games on mobile devices. There's something about a big screen that hits different for me.
Watching Fallout season 2 and getting annoyed with the side quests...
A screengrab of a Microsoft Word notification that my document can not be saved because the server is too busy.
So sick of this cloud nonsense. Just save it to my own hard drive!
Looking at ways to work on Forest Paths 2... Do I post here? Do I create a Discord server? Would folks support a patreon for early sneak peeks?
It's already shaping up to be a beast. I don't want to do it alone.

It's on trans folks! I'll be running an intro workshop in Melbourne for folks who want to make interactive literature. The beginner principles and tool are pretty simple. Just make sure you bring a laptop or tablet. Tickets and full program are available at transbookfestival.org #TransBookFest2026
If anyone else is willing to share Steam Next Fest numbers, please reply to this post.
Let's normalize sharing reality and not "fake it til you make it" culture.
They do it all the time.
Agreed. I'd love to do this kind of work if there was a vehicle for it.
I used the email address and it bounced.
Just going to leave this here... like a magazine left on a coffee table. Maybe you'll pick it up... www.gamepoems.com/issue01/

I hate how the Headspace app has become the perfect example of enshittification. Since they started on the AI road the UX, reliability and content have all suffered (or failed), resorted to pop-ups, now tricking users into using the AI tool. Cancelled my subscription.
On my way to Gamescom Asia!
I have very few plans, so let me know if you'd like to meet up. Particularly keen to chat to devs making narrative led games to hear how you're making your magic.
Looks like a wonderfully valuable session. This would be a start time of 5am for us in Melbourne, and I'm seriously considering doing it.
At the Games for Change Summit and it's been great so far, but hearing a panelist from RMIT not only dismiss environmental concerns about using genAI but also brag about it's use without acknowledging IP theft or cultural safety concerns blows my mind.
So are you all opening the letters in Letters To Arralla? It's amazing how I know it's a game, but I am still very reluctant to crack them open unless I feel like I need a clue inside.
I also appreciate the ability to sit on an 🍆I giggle every time.
In town for Melbourne International Games Week? We're back with another Interactive Narrative Social folks! events.humanitix.com/migw-interac...

This would have been a perfect time for a recap video...
I have played games with amazing cinematic pieces written by games writers.
I have watched abysmal pieces of cinema written by screenwriters.
I have cleared up game projects that were systemically destroyed by the ego/ignorance of writers who moved into games without learning the medium.
