“Carers are the hardest-working people you will ever meet,” Nessa says. “Who cares for the carers?”
My experience was “no one”

Bear in mind I do add grain to my photos, so they won't be representative of the actual output from the camera.
Just search for #GRist on my profile.
No, it's just the basic IIIx.
Wild!
Not my pictures but these popped up on fb, I worked on that rig 10 years ago just before it got towed for scrapping in Malta. It broke its moorings during the tow from Norway and washed up in Shetland!
A woman with blonde-highlighted hair wearing a yellow floral patterned dress stands by a white-framed window. She is looking down as she adjusts a beige stocking on her leg, lifting the hem of her dress to reach the garter. Soft, natural light from the window illuminates the scene.

Hey! Yeah, still carry the GRIIIx with me everywhere. Kinda wish I'd got the 28mm equivalent now though. But not much in it really.
Loving these interior pics of Artemis II
I'll have a look 🙂
Yes! I Googled it and some guy called Tim Allen popped up 😂
The voyage of the Katrin neutrino detector through the streets of Karlsruhe made for some amazing images.
A horizontal studio portrait of a woman with long, blonde wavy hair, looking away from the camera with a playful expression. She is wearing a vibrant, multi-coloured sequined dress featuring shades of gold, green, pink, and blue. Her hands are raised, lightly touching her hair, and her nails are painted a bright red. The background is a dark, textured grey-green wall that contrasts with the shimmer of her outfit.
Mood: Iridescent.

An aerial view of a large-scale outdoor miniature film set for the Mos Espa podrace, featuring desert-style buildings, domed structures, and artificial rock formations surrounded by a construction fence.
A behind-the-scenes photograph shows a crew member in a sun hat standing behind an intricate miniature model of a crowded stadium built into a desert cliffside for a film production.
A high-angle, close-up shot of a miniature film set reveals thousands of tiny, colorful painted Q-tips representing a crowd in a tiered desert arena, with small Micro Machines figurines standing in arched balconies.
A top-down, extreme close-up of a movie miniature shows rows of colorful Q-tips serving as a stadium crowd, with small figurines standing on a nearby set of tan stairs.
The Phantom Menace (1999)
One of my favorite filmmaking wizardry*: the spectators of the Mos Espa's pod race are actually Q-tips (and some Micro Machines, including Prince Xizor from Shadows of the empire, 1996).
That's movie magic.
(*or... Quality tips)
Cool, and nice mono conversions.
Is it just the new books that you can't de Drm?
They are different in that you can't de-Drm Amazon books AIUI.
Impossible to disagree with a single word that Ben Rhodes (Obama era NSC official) is saying here:
Where banana? 😲🍌
I switched to Google books as they are easier to de-Drm. This is the trouble with digital media (which I prefer BTW), there are songs I've listened to on Spotify that are no longer available.
A reflection in a glass window shows a silver van parked on a street lined with white terraced houses under a clear blue sky. Red lettering spelling "BURGER" is visible on the glass in the foreground, partially obscuring the view of the street and a brick chimney stack on the roof opposite.

It's very good.
Bluesky's image quality will be increasing soon!

Yeah, the shadows look totally fake.
A black and white landscape photograph of a wide estuary at low tide. The damp, textured sand in the foreground curves along the shoreline, leading the eye toward a cluster of small sailing boats moored in the calm water. In the background, a dark, wooded hillside meets the water on the right, while distant rolling hills are visible through a soft haze across the horizon.
