I'm currently reading The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, and it's horrifying. It's beautifully written, don't get me wrong. But guys, we have to learn from history.
Ida Wells was born enslaved but refused to live in fear. She wielded the power of the press to expose America’s greatest terror—lynching. When the truth made her a target, she didn’t back down. She co-founded the NAACP, fought for Black women’s voting rights, and left a legacy of resistance!
