We’ve been out litter picking today and cleared a huge amount of rubbish from the area near Wynfield Gardens on the Alcester Road. I know all the attention is on the by election now, but we’re still working hard in Brum to make positive changes in our community.

It speaks volumes that he’d risk the GM mayoralty falling into the hands of you-know-who, just for his opportunity to stage a coup for Labour leadership. Yet another example of voters being taken for granted.

Reform aren't the slightest bit interested in looking after their constituents, just look at Farage and Clacton. He's like an absent landlord and only turns up for photo opportunities. They're solely in it for themselves and nothing else.

Leaseholders *across the country* are being ripped off. The cladding scandal gets nowhere near the coverage it should. There is no end in sight for those trapped. Cap crippling service charges. Engage directly with groups like @eocs-official.bsky.social to lobby more effectively for those impacted

They have trampled on the truth of the just, betraying the word of Christ. They have obscured His message, making it a Western one when we saw it as a message of universal liberation. Now our eyes have been opened to the class struggle & there will be no more blows dealt against us (Sankara, 1984)

Labour defections to Greens are inevitable. What will be more telling is the timing. Which MPs will lead the way, defecting sooner rather than later - based on principles and morals. And which defect later, just because they’re career politicians jumping from the sinking Labour ship

Zack has made a phenomenal start. There is a huge vacuum on the left of politics - there is no other credible party to the left of centre but Greens. If they continue their comms of fair, progressive (yet realistic) policy across ALL the things that matter to ppl, the sky is the limit 🙏
