As an editor and publisher, I'm very disturbed by the trend of putting submitter's work into AI detectors without their consent or knowledge. I can tell you this is happening at a lot of major magazines. I don't care if the detector is supposedly not using data put into it. you must gain consent.

Hi all, I'm going to need some help with the next month. I've been getting more work, but it's not enough to keep up with all the costs we have right now. In addition, I'm dealing with serious depression that's making daily life extremely difficult. The biggest cost I have to cover is about $1400 in back taxes. But we also need to have our car battery replaced, which is likely to be about $130. I also need to buy new glasses, which should be just over $150. It's possible I'll need some help covering April's rent, and I can update the crowdfund again if that looks necessary. My partner and I appreciate all your help.
