Catholic Vice President Vance takes to social media to justify killing of Renee Good After the tragic shooting of Renee Good at the hands of ICE, the Catholic vice president of the United States took to social media to justify the killing.

Editorial in the National Catholic Reporter: "The vice president's comments justifying the death of Renee Good are a moral stain on the collective witness of our Catholic faith. His repeated attempts to blame Good for her own death are fundamentally incompatible with the Gospel."

The government is saying that violence rules. That snatching foreign leaders and territories, and shooting US citizens in their cars at point blank range, is justified. That resistance is not only futile, it is dangerous. They can say these things. But they cannot force us to believe them.

I'll be a single issue voter, and this is the issue. No pardons, no "national reconciliation," no pleas to go high when they go low... If we're going to ever have anything like rule of law in this country again, it will start with this.

I am impeaching Secretary Kristi Noem, who is an incompetent leader and a disgrace to our democracy.

She wreaked havoc in the Chicagoland area and has brought her reign of terror to Minneapolis. One of her rogue ICE agents shot and killed an innocent woman today. It must come to an end.

This actually kind of accurately represents infancy. It's a wild, surreal time, and even the joys are tinged with sleep deprivation...

Anybody else feel like Jim Pillen is like Kevin Costner's character from Yellowstone, except you ordered him from Shein? A little small, not as durable, and maybe even the original only worked on television anyway...

I'm thinking of Mario Kart. He might get blue shelled by Luigi or something. That would be tragic.

The Inspectors General refuse to leave until the action is taken legally, which they do not believe it was, and neither do senators like Chuck Grassley. This is what not backing down looks like.

the wild thing about this is that we have past examples of this shit happening! from this century! from the last *decade* even! in a state with a faked agricultural sector that went for trump in '24!

in 2011 georgia passed a harsh law, and promptly lost $200 mill with produce rotting on the ground

Maybe it depends on the strike, but my union relatives always taught me to boycott anywhere with a picket line until the strike was done. labortribune.com/opinion-dos-...

Posting to help myself remember not to cross the picket lines if this happens. Costco is a big part of my grocery shopping, but I've never crossed a picket line, and I'm not about to start now...

Anyway, my network of friends kind of lived on the book of faces, and my personal and professional interests were on the bird site before it got totally unpleasant. I'm trying to figure out what this site will be like, but I hope my many personal friends will bear with me if I get into the weeds

Once upon a time, I got in relatively early on Twitter; it was all about following authors and other interesting people. I didn't have tons of personal friends on there. I had a few cool interactions with famous and semi-famous folks. Later, I got plugged into #LibraryTwitter and #Exvangelical folks
