I want to know who dumps oil shares from now until 8pm ET, because it's a safe bet that the ππ© is going to back off his "annihilate a civilization" bullshit at or just before 8 and oil shares will plummet.

It's Friday the 13th, of March, and it's -27c.
I am so over winter.
All the individuals responsible for @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com Midnight, and Housing, should get a hefty bonus. I haven't enjoyed playing this game, this much, since I started in the original open beta in 2004. I wish wasn't playing on a potato and could enjoy the distance scenery more! #wow
New snow near Little Smoky, AB
From Feb 16, screenshot of weather app showing just cloudy and a message "snow expected later today" while it was actively snowing heavy.
We live in a weird bubble that radar can literally never see. We got at least 8" of fresh snow, most of it last night, and the app just kept saying "snow expected," with the radar showing nothing coming down, though it was SW/NE of us. Happens every snowstorm. #abstorm @weathernetwork.bsky.social
"When Big Things happen on such a large scale, itβs easy to forget sometimes that these Big Things are also happening to the little things in the world, too."
Quote from Dungeon Crawler Carl by @mattdinniman.bsky.social
My kids and I are Permanent Residents of Canada. Not Alberta. We'd have to move, including my Canadian citizen husband. We have very rural 160 acres and a home and it's nauseating to think of having to sell it and trying to relocate after being so settled and stable for 14 years.
It's interesting that the same people who scream about their 2nd amendment rights - the right to bear arms (with the idea to protect against tyranny) are the same people who are just fine with watching tyranny happen.
As an American living in Canada, who hasn't been back to the US in 14 years and would not cross that border for any reason, this still hurts. NCLB was the start of the downfall, so I really only had my childhood to know a promising America, but it hurts. The lost potential of an entire nation...
Alberta separatists are the single stupidest people in Canada. The UCP has done nothing good and lasting for education, employment, or healthcare, and these absolute imbeciles think the same people can run Alberta as a country. They're letting foreign actors brainwash them. Morons.
His handlers finally told him how @mark-carney.bsky.social absolutely destroyed him at Davos.
Well. An improperly latched gate + crazy wind + a husky with adhd style hyperfocus and an insane prey drive = our last 4 chickens dead.
She left them lined up in a row, heads all bent the same direction. 1 has a puncture mark, otherwise, no mess. She's a freaking serial killer! π€ͺ
Please, please, please - stop the Alberta UCP from what they are doing to Alberta Healthcare! I know other provinces are having similar issues, and there's a whole systemic failure to fix, but what the UCP is doing is, or should be considered, criminal.
On all my characters with a garrison herb garden, auto loot works when picking herbs, *except* on my herbalist/alchemist. I cannot get auto loot to work on that one! Turned it off/on, restarted, deleted WTF/cache, etc. It's been years. Finally need the herbs so now I care lol!
No, sis, I won't be visiting the US. It turns out white people aren't safe from ICE, either.
The cognitive disconnect of people who see that video and think she was doing anything but trying to get away, is terrifying.
So all the drama surrounding "the files" and I'm still wondering why a hacker group hasn't gone in and just taken/released them. Are all the hackers capable of taking on that level of security already on the payroll (or been bought off)?
What a time to be a alive when you want the pirates to win.
@support.blizzard.com I wanted to add a video to my bug report but can't easily do that. I'm so bad at explaining things! Can your team please get this to the team who would do with it what they will? Video: photos.app.goo.gl/dEnF232B86UP...

Citizenship markers on licenses? I can't wait to get my citizenship to vote again these assholes. What the hell.
I had an ulnar nerve transposition surgery yesterday on my right elbow. I'm right dominant, in a hard cast for 2 weeks. Trying to do anything 1 handed with my left hand is proving difficult π Thankfully my husband took this next week off work! I'll eventually need my left done as well. Aging sucks!

A screenshot from the linked New York Times article, which says: "the law in DC must be changed prosecute these minors as adults and lock them up for a long time starting at age 14" Mr Trump said in his social media post on Tuesday.
Someone want to tell him that's not how to lead in a free democracy?
Oh wait, he's turning the US into a fascist dictatorship. My bad.
It's devastating to watch this happen in real time.
Where's the files?
This was a sad realization. One of the main resources I use to research medical things is the NIH (US) medical studies. It's not as good as having access to what a doctor would, but it's better than trusting AI and FB. Thanks to RFK Jr, I'm finding myself less trusting; what if it's been altered?
2/ Which led to me googling. Which led to this news article. Which led to me, once again, trying to understand wtf is wrong with half the human population. It's fine when Trump uses his influence to "help" rich people get richer, or criminals go free, but this is too much. Fuck them all.
A Facebook post complaining about Oregon Senator Wyden helping a pregnant woman apply for asylum, twisting it so that it sounds like people in the country illegally are the reason Americans don't have universal health Care, instead of the fact they're too stupid to vote in the people who could make it happen.
1/ I made the mistake of going down a rabbit hole. It's started on Reddit with a post about @wyden.senate.gov calling out the Epstein money trail. Which somehow led to Facebook. Which led to the comment in this image.
Morning of day 3! I managed 5 hours sleep (2 hours then 3) but still feel like my brain is in a blender. Storm wouldn't eat or drink anything most of yesterday, and I couldn't give her pills until she did, so I threw a giant frozen turkey breast in the instant pot, completely unseasoned. Watered down the broth it made and she drank that just fine. And she devoured the meat. Then she drank regular water for like 5 minutes straight last night. Also took off the fentanyl patch. She's feeling much better this morning.
Our husky Storm, resting in her crate on day 3 post-tplo surgery. She has an ive pack on the surgery leg.
I'm so tired I just screenshot my FB post and copied the text for the alt instead of trying to shorten it for Bluesky π₯±

3 hours sleep after 2 the night before. My mother had me when she was 43. I know lots of women are choosing to have babies later in life. Hats off to them! I'm 46. I could not do this longer term. My brain feels scrambled, but like the whisk was missing a wire so it was a crappy job... π₯±
Our husky Storm, starting to doze in her crate, the day after she had TPLO surgery.
Oof, it's been a rough 24 hours. Storm has been crying/whining all day and I got about 2 hours π΄ taking care of her. She's finally starting to doze more so I'll be setting up a nest next to the crate tonight and hope for a little more π€ #husky #dogsofbluesky #dog #surgery #alberta #canada
Our husky Storm, freshly home and in her crate with a shaved leg after tplo surgery. Her bushy tail is temporarily wrapped in vet wrap.

My girl Storm had TPLO surgery today and now has a plucked chicken leg and temporary rat tail, and is super f'ed up on anesthesia and fentanyl.

It's Prime Day on Amazon so everything in my wish list is jacked up in price and then "discounted" to a couple dollars less than the normal price. Though a few items are more than when I added them.
Yes, Amazon is evil. We buy everything we can locally but sometimes it's the only decent option.
Sheesh!
