1/3 I predicted this in 1999. Because the looming threat of two things 1) Whites would be in the minority by 2035 2) the millions of remnant Indigenous populations in Latin America who we escalating their rebellions since Allende/Pinochet. Not only are they terribly afraid of Amerindigenous

Indigenous Data Sovereignty & Control seems to have shifted, lately. It seems all the bad actors over the last year and 1/2 have hipped all the Good PEOPLE to the danger. Dr. Fox, Dale & Yracheta are fantastic scientists; grounded in their communities. The war is waging, even if you cannot see it.

Recently, NativeBio was at Harvard University. We got to dovetail with the work MASS Design also does with Harvard. We met with Katie Swenson. Here, she is wearing a NativeBio's Wokiksuye (We Remember MMIP and Boarding School relatives) T-Shirt designed by Tammy Granados, an artist from CRST.

4/4 AND why Native Bio can be there as a CLIA lab and data storage facility for tribes. Because many RED STATES are more worried about their racism towards First Americans instead of the safety of their own citizens via Public health and epidemiology!

1/4 This story is from four months ago. I’m glad to hear about the improvement in tribal health. But there’s two things that still sting : 1) early on, the public health departments of North & South Dakota were notoriously & infamously uncooperative with tribes

If you are a Native undergraduate student, graduate student, a PhD, an MD student/ practitioner you need to understand the Big Data Landscape that seeks to make BioProperty out of your past, present & future relatives without providing better services, economic benefit or even acknowledgement.

The NIH has done a terrible, almost criminal job working with Indigenous people. Because of this they get miserably low Tribal participation, so they propose stealing data through a different data silo.

It will more likely be another extraction of a valuable resource. But this differs because it combines a n issue like gold or lithium with Native children in boarding schools or foster care. Deeply rooted in economic, politics and cultural identity !!!!

Please watch and attend the Q & A. To me this will be a travesty of justice and compound the 534 years of injustice for Amerindigenous people in OUR hemisphere for an unlikely compendium of benefits.

This is good. Learn, know, act! Our 534 year genocides and deportations in our ancestral places of origin have no “Anne Frank”, no “Emmit Till”. No one cares when we die because our deaths are required for you to flourish

Our Indigenous Data Sovereignty Friends in the USA, Mexico & Canada are being silenced. Why? Because data is money. DNA is money. Surveillance (biometrics) is money & weaponry. These settler countries believe we are an asset, 1 of the most valuable assets, their bioproperty! Tell them they are wrong

remember, if its free, it means your data is for sale.

what implications does this mean for communities fighting mining projects, pipeline projects, etc. when LLMs can perform attacks that would not have previously been possible, due to the lack of structured data or features.

Large-scale online deanonymization with LLMs

Important for Tribal sovereignty in so many areas. But especially data collected with "altruistic intent" such as health research data and environmental monitoring data. These "soft" policy venues are also "soft targets" for bad actors. arxiv.org/html/2602.16...
