Would recommend either Denver or Fort Collins. State's a lot redder outside the front range, and Co Springs still leans Republican. Housing's expensive; groceries/gas not too bad. Denver feels v safe to me; there are some great queer bars + my trans wife has no worries abt going out in a dress.
