At 19, I could fuck off halfway around the world, check in to a $600/night hotel, and do who knows what else with no supervision.
But I couldn't get a standard room at a hampton inn in bumfuck Indiana (or even most of the US for that matter).
Am I missing something here?

But wait there's more!
What if we put fucking TVs in bathtubs?
So I went to a hotel run by a chaebol
Very professional network setup
The public wifi is the same one guests use; and is also what their tv boxes use (which they also want you to use to sign into netflix)
No QoS or anything of that sort
Hmm surely nothing can go wrong, right?
They are plotting something
So we had one no service, but what about a second no service?

Is just doing ok. Not good, not bad, just ok.
It's amazing that after all these years, we still do not have an A1 bottle that doesn't get dried sauce stuck in the cap.
To the person who had the whole damn plane to pick from and decided to sit next to me of all people, I have a question for you.
Why?
Are you that much of a psycho?
Also remember this the next time you hear about potential regulation of interchange fees.
Since this has come up again
I must remind everyone that:
- The visa/mc-merchant settlement may or may not be approved (probably won't be)
- Are any savings going to be passed on to the consumer? Hell no, why would they do this when they could keep the extra profits
The reason potholes are a dying breed in Detroit is that Toledo has been stealing them all

Maybe those almost 1000 stars will finally be good for something
The door locks are nfc capable
Our phones are nfc capable
Apple/Google wallets support nfc hotel keys
Meanwhile some schmuck at Hilton decides bluetooth is the future and fumbles it hard, and somehow makes it even shittier on top of that
The next level of bullshit
Hotels that charge card processing fees but only accept credit card (or also bnpl, which has even worse fees)
I love driving on don valley parkway
You're either driving 130kmh or you're in standstill traffic, with barely any in-between.
So I went looking for my travel adapters
Some genius at apple decided this kit needes not one, not two, but THREE FUCKING EUROPLUGS
It also includes another north american plug, along with a chinese version that is the exact same but has no holes in the prongs
And this kit has been sold for years
Someone at coke apparently has no idea what this word is used for
Something happened to colonel, but I'm not sure what.

Public parking in Magong is NT$20/hour (up to a max of NT$60).
Parking is free from 7pm to 9am. The first 30 minutes is also free during paid hours.
I get a parking slip at 6:16pm
They never came back...
Why bother at this point?
Oh well at least I'm not paying anything
It was not DNS
Maybe it was or wasn't DNS?
FUCK, it was DNS
Everywhere I go, I see it.
My most coherent neighbor
I love these hotel booking engine domains. I get that Asia is different when it comes to the internet but really? book-secure.com book-directonline.com look totally not sketchy (and are unfortunately real)
I will say having to spend five minutes completing a 3D Secure challenge so I can spend £28 for bar food (because they cannot be assed to have a real pos terminal) is close to if not the peak of payments stupidity.
