Yes, we do. We had planned to finish the day around 11pm, the speaker before me finished at 11.20pm & I had to start my speech then. I tried to adjourn debate at 12.30pm, for the sake of staff & because I was not able to be at my best. My move to adjourn was defeated by others & I had to keep going

I thank the Attorney-General for taking on board feedback I & others have raised on behalf of many hurt, angry & bewildered Tasmanians impacted by this shocking situation. The commitment to a formal apology is an important one.
