There wasn't an update on Roman Kantserov potentially signing. Davidson expected to talk with him once he was done with his KHL season.

Kyle Davidson said he'd still like to re-sign Ilya Mikheyev. There haven't been discussions since the trade deadline, but there was time now for those to happen.

Kyle Davidson said he's heard multiple players say the playoffs are their goal for next season. He thought that wasn't unrealistic, but also hedged that, saying the young players had to take another step.

Connor Bedard: "At the end of the day, we know we got to start winning. It’s been a while. I think it takes a toll on you and you want to make that step. We talk about it all the time, but it’s on us to go out there, have good summers, come back and make that leap."
