I bought my fist house for 40k, it was a duplex and I rented the upstairs unit for $400 a month. While I was living out of state a guy murdered his wife up there and I sold the place.

I was on a flight to a con once and a guy sat down next to me. His laptop was covered in furry stickers. I said "Oh hey cool I'm going to the convention too". He sat in silence and said nothing for the entire flight. It still bothers me because it was so fucking weird.
