a week on black sound & music archives is exactly how I wanted to end this course. it was a real gift to teach students about Willie Mae Thornton, Sister Nancy, & all the many other Black women whose music built worlds

I spent nearly 3 weeks debating whether to buy these orthopedic runners bc they felt too expensive on my student budget. I finally gave in & bought them only for UPS to disregard my "signature required" for delivery, left the package on my step & the shoes were stolen before I got home...
