well in place of a lifetime of debt ive been granted a lifetime of struggling with feelings of inadequacy and failure and humiliation so really nobody in either situation comes out feeling so great. the colleges do though! much like gambling the house always wins

if theres one advantage to being a college dropout its that im only paying loans worth a semester and a half from a community college so ive only been paying them off for a decade and im almost done which certainly beats being indebted for the rest of my life
