ICE detain wife of 27 year active duty U.S. Army sergeant—she is also legally employed by Fort Bliss Army Base.
She was granted asylum from El Salvador under the Convention Against Torture protection in 2019.
Now facing deportation to Mexico—a country where she's never lived.
We've all seen the videos of ICE pulling people out of their cars, shooting citizens with pepper balls, and even worse killing Americans in the streets.
This is not normal. And it cannot continue.
ICE needs commonsense guardrails NOW.
The goal is just to deport as many people as possible, regardless of whether they’re undocumented.
And, as usual, this woman was kidnapped by ICE.
This is unacceptable, and the ICE kidnappers must be held accountable.
