Chrysler recently licensed my song "check it out" by phoebemonster for their anthem piece, "Century of Innovation"!

I finally found my voice as a top liner/vocalist, in addition to being the composer/producer/mixer. Huge thanks to the Sync Beast Graham Barton for helping me carve out my lane.

My favorite activity besides producing sync music bangers, playing video games, and hanging out with my awesome wife… is ice hockey. Been working hard to get better every day 🏒 and I’m so grateful to the amazing people in the local hockey community who have been making it so fun and helping me grow.

Granted, some deals are wildly aggressive, and there are instances where people are offered incredible opportunities when they really shouldn't. But for someone to learn that an artist career move is calculated and automatically assume that equates to corruption... is both hilarious and sad.

It's ridiculous that when some people learn that music businesses and professionals operate like *gasp* businesses with strategies, they label it "corrupt". As if the music industry is supposed to be some magical space where people just create for artistry alone, without having to survive.

Podcasts it is! “Conan Needs a Friend” is currently my fav… Conan O’Brien is just so funny and awesome. Top 5 fav celebs for sure.

#balatro is a great game, I’m obsessed. But I wish it had more music. I COULD make a whole album to compliment the first couple tracks. Like, I kind of want to, then pitch it to the game co and say “put this in your update”… but I don’t love working on spec. and it’d be a career distraction.

I’m happy Canada won vs USA #hockey game #2 even though I accidentally watched a rerun of game #1 thinking it was #2 and thought there was a tear in the space/time continuum when the news announced Canada won. I thought I made a parallel universe jump.

I just got invited to do a custom where the music supervisor will take 50/50 of writers share on the custom if it wins.
There's no demo fee.
The win fee isn't noteworthy, and the agency already takes half.

I’m so glad I have other clients who would never expect this from their composers.

Music supervisors or sync agents stating that they will take a cut of the WRITERS share on customs…

If you had nothing to do with the creation of the music, what the actual fuck.

Aggressive moves like this will make the best #composers prioritize other clients.
