I finally unstalled on Optimus and knocked it out in 81 days. What a fun build. 990 pieces or so?
I haven't been to the bench since 2/27 and I need to get started on some figures and a dio.

I got this guy last year and snapped it at a build day. It was great little build. Thank you for reminding me that I should paint him up as a palette cleanser

I haven't tested this yet but i heard that if you add a little gloss clear to the chrome, it's not as fragile. Might be worth a test on a mule.
The principles of that class are going to really help here. It might be exactly covered, but it gave me a lot of confidence to go this route. Thank you again for taking the time. Even just the basic q&a gave me a huge head start.
I guess that figure customization course I took with @tomgco90.bsky.social at Wonderfest came at the perfect time.
Now I gotta get some AVES.

My spinmaster detail up has earned me AMT Batwing. Still stalled on the Optimus and my growing backlog of GunPla. This has stretched me in a new direction, as it's my first real plane kit.

It was the first time I got to share this experience with my brother. To feel him, as an adult, in awe. To see him connect to his childhood hero in a way he has never been able to. Thank you for making this about hope. About humanity. It was beautiful to see.
There have been many iterations of Superman on film over the last 45 years. Nothing stood up to Reeves and even then, nothing that felt contemporary. Donner's movie is an opera. Your version resonated in a way I can't describe.

He knows that. He also knows there aren't nonviolent mechanisms to stop him. He's counting on it.
If you can't endlessly declare a state of emergency so you get emergency Powers if there's no emergency.
Finished it today. It was a fun project to get this looking more screen accurate.
