Do I have any #ParkChat friends who (1) live in CA and (2) were part of the DOGE federal work force reductions that might want to speak at an upcoming event with a large audience of decision makers? If so, reach out!

The fact the candidate everyone isn’t talking about is Conservative candidate, Andrew Lawton, is SHAMEFUL.

This piece of filth has DECADE of bigotry, sexism, homophobia, on record. Not one bad day.

Why isn’t Poilievre being asked to remove him, like when he ran for Ford a few years ago?

A depiction of brownies from Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black's Spiderwick Chronicles, showing a small fey creature in green britches and a white shirt with a thimble hat and a duster made of a badminton shuttlecock. Words explain how to keep them happy but are too small to read, but are observations made by Arthur Spiderwick, who is chronicling the fey in his home because he can see them.

Leave out milk, bread, and honey and you'll have less housework to do: the brownie is a Scottish spirit that at night will tidy up the home a bit if given offerings. If ignored or offended, they become boggarts, so be kind. #FolkloreSunday

CHARLIE ANGUS RESPONDS TO DONALD TRUMP'S ECONOMIC EXTORTION
CHARLIE ANGUS RESPONDS TO DONALD TRUMP'S ECONOMIC EXTORTION YouTube video by Charlie Angus

Please watch my statement on Trump's attempt to extort Canada.
The stakes are high but much higher in the United State as Donald Trump leaves the USA weaker economically and politically.
This is how the great American century ends - like a toxic sideshow.

Evergreens heavy with snow. A path veers to the right. Otherwise the snow in front of the trees is untouched.

A path of mystery dark stream flows and leads from underfoot through snow-heavy shrubs into a forest deep and tall with slender trunks and endless snow-adorned branching cascades in the day’s grey light.

A group of snowshoers (and a dog!) seen today on hike 9 of my #52hikechallenge - a 2.9k snowshoe. Another beautiful day to get outside!

That’s so awesome. What a good dad! We had a lake behind our childhood house and my dad used to light a bonfire in this old drum and we too would skate for hours. Good memories.

Today is National Flag Day in Canada and I think I spent it in a fitting way - skating on an outdoor trail on top of Blue Mountain 🇨🇦 I haven’t been skating in 2 years so I had a big grin a lot of the time. And while this wasn’t hiking, I’m counting it as “hike” 8 of the #52hikechallenge.
