Check this link re Red Kangaroos ...they're really not the cuddling type. Males stand up to 7 feet tall and are built like a body builder. Their claws are HUGE!

A Pademelon. Like a wee version of a kangaroo. We don't actually have wild kangaroos here in Tassie. There are Wallabies and Pademelons but not Kangaroos.

She's a Pademelon. They're like a mini version of a wallaby, which is like a small version of a kangaroo. She has a joey in her pouch, but it's not old enough to come out yet.

They're quick on their feet, and easily spooked (rolling into a ball) so well done on getting such great pics H! We call our local echidna Spike. 😁
