It’s a common misconception that life expectancy has increased only because fewer children die.
Historical mortality records show that adults today also live much longer than adults in the past.
La importancia de entender que los datos son capitales políticos y estructuras no-neutras.

"This was definitely not well-documented, not much attention has been paid to it," the study's lead author told me. A Norwegian demographer put it more bluntly: "I've been screaming that we need more research about men for the last 20 years." (2/3)

¿Están aún en línea?
And also Eurostat has life expectancy info by educational attainment 🙂
Here is a recent (and excellent) article for the US. In the supplemental information (OSF) you can find the nDx by education and cause: jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...
I understand that also Sweden has it, but I haven't explored the information (www.statistikdatabasen.scb.se/pxweb/en/ssd...).
The rich are responsible for an outsized share of carbon emissions — the top 10% account for 48%.
And the gap is growing.
Since 1990, the richest 1% have increased their share of emissions by 13%, while the poorest 50% have seen theirs fall by 3%.
Súper recomendado! 😊
