Can't wait! I definitely need to get some of your other games. I Am Your Beast in particular looks like my shit.
I'm still early in, but I'm hungry for more of this universe, more stories with James Savage (if it's not all in his head, which is a thing I'm floating as a possibility). (2/2)
@writnelson.bsky.social I just got El Paso, Elsewhere (and Nightmare). It's very quickly proven to be one of the coolest fucking games I have ever played. The flow of combat is impeccable, you NAILED the Max Payne feel. (1/2)
You were a notable exception to what I'm about to say, but it doesn't help that college for me was a machine designed to cause burnout. Twice it pushed me as far as I could. Just don't think I have the energy to go back, at least not anytime soon.
This looks like a talking head from one of the first two Fallout games
Remember when they were gonna do this with James Dean for some war movie that never materialized?
I had a US History professor in college who, pulling on threads from the entire semester, utterly dismantled the idea that the Civil War wasn't about slavery. This was in Oklahoma, and several times throughout the semester he had to debunk MAGA narratives. Dr. Melancon if you have zero fans I'm dead
I am unable to stop being political because it has been decided that many human beings are inherently political, and treated as political by virtue of being in the public eye in any capacity, I didn't choose to be nor am I able to opt out of being political. I didn't alienate, I have been alienated.
Definitely. When I started my second playthrough, I was stunned that I managed to 100% complete it the first time.
Nah, you're not alone. Seen plenty of people with this opinion. Check out Noah Caldwell-Gervais' review on YouTube.
I'll generally agree with this, but I thought everything with Johnny Silverhand was very good. If you go Street Kid, and go the route that ends with you and Johnny storming Arasaka alone, then give him your body, I think that game kinda sings there.
I'll admit I played Cyberpunk once Phantom Liberty was out, and enjoyed it rather a lot. But last year, I tried another playthrough, and... yeah, it didn't hold me. No Man's Sky rules, though.
Cyberpunk? No Man's Sky?
Scorcese's, and the original (?) with Gregory Peck. Which one am I missing?
moon rocks are spiders or smth
i know writers who use AI and they're not writers
I know what kind of games are just out of frame here.
Truman Show moment
put 'im in your head
No More Heroes.
Oh, he was also in Season 2, I forgot about that.
He shows up in Season 9?

"Yeah hey this game looks cool and all but what do you have to say to the accusations that your dialogue fucking sucks"
Not to be the guy complaining about games journalism in the replies, but this is such a weird hangup. The dialogue didn't even strike me that way when I heard it, I never heard any of this "discourse," but you chose to ask them about it when you learned all of that new info? Really?
