After some 3D experimentation we decided to revert to 2D.
We changed the main mechanic from tile swapping to mechanic moving. I think it allows for more intentionally designed puzzles.
Fortunately, a lot of the old levels still work fine with the new mechanics.

I wanted to change the game to fit my tastes, and if other people like it too, great!
Includes edits to most levels, a bunch of new options, and a new character Mumble. He can spin dash in mid-air!

I swapped the spin dash input from a mash to a Sonic Adventure style hold.
It's minor, but this is a little bit better for my RSI. I'm playing the drop dash sound ATM when you're full charged for a little feedback.
Undecided how long the charge should take, I just have to play around with it.

I just wanted to draw the little guy spitting poison. I guess you would use it as a reaction to someone acting toxic🤔.
And then when that person is hurt after getting owned, you can heal them with the med kit!

One of the people in our group wanted to make an isometric game as a personal challenge. I've never done isometric before, so it was intimidating.
I think it ended up looking pretty good! I made the creatures as tiny on screen as possible to uphold the theme. My favorite are the round rolly ones.
