In 12 months, the NZIC conference will be kicking-off in the beautiful Waikato! Plans are underway to bring you a diverse & inspiring programme. But, just in case you need convincing, here are some highlights from students who attended the 2024 conference.

No longer a pain in the arm? Vaccine innovation focus of research Forget needles, University of Otago – Ōtākou Whakaihu Waka-led research hopes to make getting vaccinated as easy as swallowing a capsule.

Project lead Professor Sarah Hook and her all-wāhine team are reimagining how vaccines are designed and delivered.

The project is one of 18 Otago initiatives that have been awarded a share of $15.3 million from the Health Research Council.🥳👏
