also, unlike last year, I have found ZERO promotional images so far at this conference that are blatantly AI-generated 👍
one software solutions engineer bluntly summed it up to me as: "ML to me implies they trained an algorithm on a robust dataset to provide tangible benefits in the real world, while when I hear AI, I think they've just slapped their company logo on top of ChatGPT"
it's been interesting to see in business conversations, how many folks are avoiding using AI as a term in their software products, and instead using machine learning to describe their product's capabilities
(even just a year ago, products with ML algorithms were loudly and proudly advertised as AI)
