maybe not technically dead, but there hasn't be a soul in there for decades
Pretty sure I get different results every time I take this. Being a military brat makes it messy.
Morning Kickaround is live at 930 AM ET. Lots to cover: World Cup transit drama, Vegas soccer stadium plan, NWSL calendar flip, and USLPA protests. youtube.com/live/rb4D1dI...
I've only been to Puerto Rican weddings in Puerto Rico and the food is pretty good.

Hedge of Tomorrow: Live Lie Repeat
Yes but a human can do it without looking like they're taking a shit
A proper game of football, this one, berween a team that should have wrapped up the title already and another which should have been demoted to League One a long time ago.
Arsenal fans going to have nightmares about that chance
10 minutes for Arsenal to save their season. Mikel Arteta rolling the dice by directing his players to try to score a goal maybe
Something something, Arsenal's desperate, ineffectual clawing attempts to hold onto the title symbolized Erling Haaland's torn sleeve after he already scored a potentially fatal blow against the Gunners.
Super weird energy in Manchester for this City-Arsenal. Way to make the entire world uncomfortable you guys.
That's a nonsense call for Miami.
Okay VA. Let's go.
Oh it was always bad
Great time as always! Was just about able to keep the anti-capitalism expressions to a minimum.
just wait until he gets a load of the altitude amiright
One of Southampton or Coventry must be in the Prem at all time just for this constituency.
doctor elephant
Love a badge where two different kinds of birds are arguing tactics through the balls of an elephant who is lugging around a set of turrets for some reason
I did not.
If you talk about an Arsenal collapse long enough you're bound to be proven right eventually
Talked to Josh Atencio on the radio yesterday with Inter Miami visiting Mile High and the Rapids undergoing a massive shift under Matt Wells. Really good chat, especially the part where I discovered he's a lifelong Broncos fan. Go Broncos.
Strong episode of The Best Soccer Show last night with @tpinzone343.bsky.social. We got into the MLS challenge on Concacaf Champions Cup.

First off, Matt Crocker’s the best boss I’ve ever had, by a country mile. A visionary. I think he’s showed a lot of belief in me. He’s a big reason why I came to this country. Because in order to be successful in my position, having someone with his qualities and his experiences, I think, has set the foundation for the federation. And of course, fans don’t always see the building blocks that sit underneath it. But if you think about a national training center, with a structure that is there to support WNT [the women’s team], MNT [men’s team], extended national teams, YNT [youth teams] – Matt has played a pivotal role in putting in place a structure that wasn’t there before, in its entirety. I think the great thing about the work that he has done is it’s in a better place, but we also have succession planning, and contingencies for that. And I think with Dan [Helfrich, U.S. Soccer’s new chief operating officer] in a leadership capacity, and his experiences with Deloitte, he brings a leadership in an interim period to help navigate the next steps for the federation. I think when it comes to the MNT, everybody is positioned, and it doesn’t change anything. When it comes to the WNT, the combination of Gooch [Onyewu, vice president of sporting] and Tracey [Kevins, head of development for the women’s youth national team program] stepping in, in a support capacity, I think it’s business as usual. I know people don’t necessarily see this from the outside, but Matt did an amazing job of putting together that foundation which we can now build upon. And while I will miss him, I wish him the best of luck, because he’s an amazing guy.
I meant to post this yesterday and forgot...
Here's what #USWNT manager Emma Hayes had to say about Matt Crocker's departure from U.S. Soccer.
"First off, Matt Crocker’s the best boss I’ve ever had, by a country mile," she said to start:
I honestly forgot that there were other players involved in the shoot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4vl...
