Flat, illustrated poster graphic of a Florida Scrub-Jay in flight titled "I'm worth more than 100 tech bros!"
Went on a hike today. Took some photos. Vultures are so pretty.

Happy Earth Day.
Been picking away at making a matching set of gear (and making my collection more cohesive); wrist and ankle cuffs, agitation collar with grab handle, and two double sided quick connectors. More to come, but it's "complete" for now.

SOMEONE (my partner) has been stealing my style and got these brown wingtip dress boots for himself. Alas, he owns no brown belt to match them, what a quandary *stares at the 9000lbs of hides in the other room*
Long story short, made him a Horween belt to match.

I keep circling back to the thought of "yeah I want to be more involved in the furry community again, I miss it" then I see some of the most dogshit takes and discourse pop up and it's like.....
Yeah no I'm good staying on the fringe still I guess. :/
Mornings in the #bog. It's like its own little utopia. It's hard to imagine a more cool place to be. The pitcher plant bogs of North Florida are otherworldly. From a recent foggy morning. #photography #landscape #ECK #bogs #pitcherplants #Sarracenia #fog #bogplants
A selection of realistic plush fish. Closest to the camera is a common pleco with a suction cup for a mouth, behind it are a group of sturgeon's with golden eyes.
Another shot of the plushies from a different angle
More fish plush photos, this time you can see the suckermouth fish koptu
Got some assorted fishies in the shop right now! Sturgeons, a couple of common plecos and a Koptu!

I spent a day printing the rest of the edition for this little bullfinch birb! Available in my store :)
Brown Horween, olive Italian lambskin (the customs fees really feel great on your skin), and forest green Newbury which I've laminated together to make double sided straps. I almost exclusively use Horween but I've really enjoyed working with the Newbury. Hardware is solid brass, antiqued finish.

No one really knows how many hours goes into a "simple" looking leather belt. Not even me, as I disassociate while dyeing and buffing and burnishing and buffing and burnishing again and buffing several more times for hours and hours and hours......
..what time is it..?

a digital painting of a gyrfalcon. he is sitting on a dead knob of a treebranch. The background is vague shapes of teal. the bird is positioned such that his back is to the viewer, and his pattern of dark feathers with white outlines can be clearly seen. his head is in profile, looking back over his shoulder, displaying a hooked beak and piercing eye.
This month's #BirdWhisperer is a Gyrfalcon! I spent way too long on this but I love how it turned out, haha

The first panel shows a crow with the title "How to live a good life". The second panel shows a crow cawing at itself in the mirror with the subheading "Make friends". The next panel says "Explore" and shows a crow looking into a commercial waste bin. The next says "Try new things" with a crow eating something vile. The next one says "Be curious" and shows the crow grabbing a hissing cat's tail". The final frame says "Get a hobby" and shows the crow looking closely at a book of matches.

A fully inked and detailed monochrome piece of a monstrous, scaly humanoid figure looming while gazing at the viewer. He's bound in some kind of industrial machine frame. His features are partially obscured by messy hair and a muzzle but the murderous, hostile expression in his eyes is clearly readable. He's illuminated from above by harsh cold fluorescent lighting in what looks to be the inside of a hangar bay, the lighting effect creating deep shadows as he seems to lean forward while chained to the frame.
Traditional colored pencil piece of a goblin dude with very distinct bat-like features standing in a sunlight alleyway. He's wearing very utilitarian garb in shades of green with a big wide-brimmed hat with lots of gear and lockpicks hanging from him. He's leaning back talking to what appears to be a large bullfrog.
A Posca painting done on a circular canvas depicting a vibrantly colored stylized portrait of a snarling tiger with their mouth wide open with foliage spilling out like traditional depictions of the mystical Green Man, with more foliage surrounding the portrait with the tiger stripes merging with the background. The whole thing is in saturated tones of various blues, greens, browns, purple and orange.
A traditional portrait of a masculine character wearing a sharp suit with a high collar. He is mostly humanoid though there are hints that he isn't simply human, such as his far left ear being long and pointed. The right side of his face, the side closest to the viewer, is covered in a landscape of dramatic scarring and that corresponding outer ear is almost completely gone. One glowing green eye is cybernetic, the other has a monocle. He's fixing the viewer with a disapproving scowl, clearly insulted or displeased by something.

I've lost so many people and communities over the years from so many website/social media migrations (and time itself) that I just don't have it in me to keep finding people and building new, over and over and over again. I don't really have people on bluesky. I can't seem to find a community here.
tumblr dead etc etc but, I am much more active and talky on tumblr for what it's worth. I tried to be over here but it feels like I'm talking to a brick wall a lot of the time.
