One thing about my taste in media is that I kinda love when shit gets meta. I truly do. I love Stanley Parable. I love Inscryption. I love Neverending Story. But its hard to do well, and I get that its not for everyone.

I'd love to make something like that some day.

If the game suddenly goes meta tho, I might just love it, so I need to play more. I need to see the cool animations. I need to see every anim for every time you pick up a power or gun for the first time. Its my highlight, and its so ace.

I love candy. I love eye candy. Gourmet eye candy for me.

It also talks a big 'Freedom of Movement' game while being very linear. Maybe this changes later, I dunno. Maybe it will pull a Midgar and the world will surprise me by suddenly opening up.

The world is so visually cool and fun, and the audio slaps hard. Sewer croc can get it. Art incoming.

My current main issue with Mouse PI so far, I dunno. I need to play more before I feel I can back up this criticism...

...but I would say that this game is non stop "homages" to things. Its at times a bit like playing SNL or Family Guy.

Its more DOOM than it is cartoons or noir.

Shit I should try this. I don't dream much.

So far my favorite detail is how everything animated looking is interactable...like in animation, how you can tell when a character will interact with things because it looks different, the same logic and visual language flows here, to comedic effect.

Everyones wearing little cartoon suits so its great to me!

A number of doodles of Hotel (she/her), showing her in a variety of situations that typically involve teasing one of the guests, such as playing hide and seek with one inside her interior and coiling them in a vacuum hose after finding them, pinning another one under her staircase “arm” while commenting “There’s so many places I could fit you…”, as well as swallowing another with the building’s mouth (of course). She is also shown with a truck carrying a tank of water connected to her, her front swelled out in the shape of an inflated belly. Another similar situation is shown where its implied a large number of guests are staying inside her while many more still want to check in, her fromt again expanding out in the shape of a belly with text saying “Hammerspace rooms add up.” Finally, it is shown how she is able to detach from the foundation, though doing so leaves the basement portion of the hotel behind.

New stylus acquired. It works! Thank god, I did not want to replace my tablet right now.

Yes. I think its just the stylus. The eraser end operates without problems, but the nib end stutters. I hoped the nib replacement would do the trick, but it seems the issue lies within the pen. Gonna go to get replacement, hopefully they will let me try it out first.

Pen nib replacement did not solve the issue with my stylus. FML
