This book is soooo gooood. Not an easy read, but extremely easy *to* read, like all in one sitting. Tightly written, big feelings, big questions, space for critical thinking and no being told what to think. Trusts teen readers to figure it out.

If he starts a nuclear war before anyone gets a chance to read the book I spent more than a decade working on, I'll be so fucking pissed. Make the phone calls. It's a small thing, but it's something. So many lives, so many stories, are at stake.
