Movies and video games are ridiculous accomplishments. A team of people wanted you to feel something so badly they built an entire world for you to inhabit; adjusting every detail of how that world is presented to help you feel the same way. It's one of the most human things we do. I love it

The cost of literally everything rising, but especially the prices that affect my favorite hobby, is depressing. Throw in having to dodge AI slop that's becoming prevalent in everything? It's been feeling a bit bleak lately.

That's almost a month's rent for me. After adding on tax and a single game (which will likely bump up to $100 per title by the time of launch), it would be a month's rent.

I'll stick to PC until my rig dies. Then I'll retire from gaming, I guess. Unless affordability changes across the board.

The idea that bright, wild color is something you outgrow is a damaging lie society tells us. This unspoken rule, that enjoying intense, clashing colors makes you childish, is pure bullshit. The depression palette trend has only gotten worse because it saves corpos money. We gotta end it.

A part of me really wants to start up a new, very visually modded Stardew Valley save, because ✨Aesthetics✨

Unfortunately, I generally don't enjoy the year 1 grind and I have very little faith that my one semi-functioning brain cell can manage modding at this time. But what if...
