as a producer/host i'm really passionate about "all voices are radio voices" because i MYSELF have been told that i don't have a "good" voice. when the standard for good is a white male baritone, i will never meet that! and at the same time: pointing out a phenomenon is not denigration

idk i approached it very value-neutral and just pointed out that it was an interesting thing happening. it's very easy to lump this with valley girl voice and vocal fry (which...it's related!) but that doesn't mean i'm casting judgement
