See the ironic thing is that i also simultaneously think that the event allowing Kanade to have some closure about her dad was probably the best thing about Niigo’s, but I think it was a poor vehicle for placing the rest of Niigo’s issues on top of. I don’t feel like I necessarily-

Honestly L/N’s is a good emotional read and for what it was saying about their relationship, but it just nags at me that they had ‘L/N didn’t drift apart *because* Saki didn’t get that sick due to her watching her health more’ and it was such an ass pull.

Mmj’s was fine actually tho.

L/N’s scenario overall was ‘what if L/N hadn’t drifted apart during middle school’ but I’m nooottttt a fan of them using Saki as a plot device by making her illness kinda just disappear

My problem with Niigo’s is that it was partly reliant on a circumstance that none of them had any remote control over (Kanade’s fathers health)

L/N’s was also kinda like this but it didn’t have to be-

I think about how this means in the wl2 dream they spent roughly a year knowing and mourning what they were missing and want to lie on the floor

Mmj’s went with a route of ‘what if they’d never met’

Niigo L/N and mmj all decide to start from a point prior to main story which. I still have mixed feelings about.
