Or, for an extremly narrow cabbage-focused niche, doing it right.

He's a liar and a killer. I don't know what else to tell people, he's a rich eugenicist, he wants as many poor people as possible to die in the name of 'health.' He's a genuinely and uniquely malign figure in American life and his appointment was an act of violence

This Isn't Trading. It's Theft from Your Retirement. Someone keeps making perfectly-timed bets right before the President speaks. The victims are your pension, your 401(k), and the country I took an oath to defend.

Fifteen minutes before the President announced he was pausing strikes on Iran, somebody moved $500 million in oil futures. Somebody knew. Somebody told them. Or somebody is them.

A screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek), with the handle @magyarpeterMP. The post reads:
"Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General.
On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation.
If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office."
At the bottom, the timestamp reads "3:04 AM • Apr 21, 2026" alongside "19.9K Views".

Peter Magyar is not playing around at all. He's going to purge every single remnant of corrupt Orbanism. This is exactly how Dems need to be when they retake power.

Yet another gushing story of how bogs are "prime areas for development" with plans for a "radical transformation of swathes of the midlands".

Bogs are important in their own right should be restored not converted to data centres

First Draft: Chuck Schumer's Gotta Go Mehdi on why the Senate minority leader is the wrong leader for this moment, when it comes to both Trump and Israel. Plus: can the new ceasefire in Lebanon hold? And what's happening over in Gaza?

"How can Democrats claim to be the party of change, going into the November midterms and then 2028, if they’re led by someone who always resists it?"

My case for the Dems chucking out Chuck Schumer, especially after his recent arms-to-Israel vote:

8 years ago, I told a story which changed my life forever. Shortly after, an old pal from college asked if he could turn it into a film.

So I am DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE that 'Me, Myself & Mary' is not only finished, but has been chosen to lead the Tribeca Festival's animated shorts roster this year.

I guarantee half the kids in my son’s class would have this reaction unironically.

Yeah, the western publishers keep trying the odd experiment with superhero manga, instead of replicating *why* manga is popular with kids.
Tell a single engaging story, that’s cheap, and easy to start and collect.
I’d love to see how some of their classic books would do as chunky B&W digest series.

DC, however, have really been trying to crack the bookstore market, and I see their Compact Comics line in lots of regular bookshops.
It’s a shame their kids’ single issues are almost all gone, but at least they’re still trying various YA efforts.

I grew up on comics in general, and Marvel in particular.
I’ve successfully passed on my love of the medium to my son *and* daughter, but they have next to no relationship with Marvel Comics.
Marvel just plain has no clue right now how to sell comics to anyone younger than, well… me.
