I was recently on an international flight where we were in “group three”. Ten people were in group 1, then they called groups 2 and 3 at the same time.

It’s a huge part of rugby union strategy. Teams that have good depth in their forward packs will routinely swap players out 2/3 of the way through the game. Sometimes the whole front row at once.
Or receiving specific tactical instructions based on observing the opponent’s behavior….
Or when a sub comes on at forward and scores.
Whether starter or backup, that’s literally what he was put out there to do. It’s his primary job and if you didn’t expect him to score then you put on the wrong guy.

Will only say that fans who attend the World Cup are typically not the rich, let’s pay money for big events crowd familiar to Americans. They are ⚽️ fans who sometimes save up for years to be able to attend.
