In case you are into these old-school and hand-drawn style maps, stay tuned, as I'm planning to make some experiments with traditional techniques and more diverse topics like in the early years of Miska's Maps, but with 10 years of experience under my belt now 😁🎨✨️

These old maps brought up some memories. Every map had a story in my mind and I was constantly trying out and learning new things, and I was not confined to any one genre.

Anyways, it was a great and inspiring experience to go though my older maps from the time when I drew everything on paper.

Last month I gave an interview to one of the big Finnish newspapers about my profession as a cartography artist. While preparing for the interview I dug up some of my old maps from the early years of Miska's Maps for photography. One of them was this space station deckplan from 2016.
