I’ve also been considering going back to school for a different degree. I’ve been considering clinical social work as it’s been a big interest of mine but it’s hard to let go of the idea of not doing what I always thought I’d be doing; art stuff

I would still love to work in a studio as a character designer or some sort of Visual Development, but I just don’t know how to jump back in these days. Any advice about it would be so welcome. I don’t know where to look and it seems like there just aren’t many jobs right now anyway!

The longer I spend out of it, the more difficult it seems like it’ll be to jump back in at any point. I don’t know if the animation industry will ever be the same and I know a lot of people are in similar situations. I know it seems kind of redundant to ask but 😭 does anyone have any advice?
