This franchise means so much to me. It's able to incorporate fun and silly vibes while still taking itself seriously enough to tell wonderfully written emotionally impactful stories perfectly. Playing OoT for the first time on my 3DS as a kid changed the way I looked at video games forever.

Curse annotated bibliography assignments. I swear, nothing feels more mentally exhausting than endlessly scrolling through archives to read dry, jargon-filled academic articles.

Games with anthro creatures like Pokémon and Animal Crossing were my gateway, as well as shows like MLP Friendship is Magic.

Dammit now I need to rewatch Balto... not that I'm complaining. That is a banger film, and an iconic piece of furry gateway media lol.

Always heard people say Neon Genesis Evangelion is a classic, but never actually seen much if it myself. Really liking it so far! I love the classic anime style, and the retrofuturistic vibes tied with machines Vs. Angels is a real sick concept. Can't wait to see more.

It took me some time to get used to, but og Star Fox ended up becoming one of my favorite SNES games. I love the low poly style, the backgrounds (especially Venom) are really good looking, and I love the secret paths you can take with the Black Hole and Out of this Dimension levels.
