It feels absolutely incredible outside today! Nearly 60°F with the sun shining! Didn’t have to wear my sweatshirt on my walk home from work.

Friend Ann Marie’s dog Christina decided to join us for Midweek Meeting at 11am today! Ann Marie was cooking food for the weekly lunch, but I think Christina liked the sunlight coming through the library windows. ❤️
I think I prefer the term “Christ-centered” to “Christian” right now. My faith, while centered on the teachings of Christ, is probably not orthodox enough to be called “Christian”. (I’m a heterodox homosexual! 😂)
Tbh I’ve not been feeling very Wilburite lately. I’m caring less about plain dress. I still refuse to wear shirts w collars or brand names, but I prefer t-shirts.
I’m even finding it difficult to maintain a distinctly Christian faith - I love the teachings of Christ, but idk about the theology.
Best Star Trek Captain.

“[As] far as he succeeded in cutting the bonds which bound him to his fellows he found himself shrinking and shriveling like a severed branch.”
This text from Rufus Jones speaks to my condition. I find God so much more in community than in solitude.
“I can’t free anyone else from their oppression - only they can do that. But by trying to help them do it themselves, I can be liberated myself.”

To all my friends:
I love you. You are important. No matter what you are going through, I support you. I am here if you ever need someone.
What radicalised you? 🌻🌻🙏
Friend Lloyd Lee Wilson continues to speak to my condition through his book “Wrestling with Our Faith Tradition”.
The image includes the quotation below, along with a picture of Origen (an older man with a long white beard holding a scroll of Scripture): We no longer take up the sword against a nation, nor do we learn war anymore, having become sons of peace for the sake of Jesus. Origen

New sweatshirt! I rarely wear sweatshirts or hoodies outside the house these days, but I like having ones with a message!

We lost Friend David Hartsough a year ago yesterday, may his memory be a blessing.
"We are all meant to be mothers of God. What good is it to me if this eternal birth of the Divine Son takes place unceasingly, but does not take place within myself? And what good is it to me if Mary is full of grace, but I am not also full of grace? What good is it to me for the Creator to give birth to his Son if I do not also give birth to him in my time and culture? This, then, is the fullness of time: when the Son of God is begotten in us." Meister Eckhart

I woke up with this song in my head. I’ve always liked June Panic’s version.

Thanks!
I mainly keep FB because I enjoy looking at my daily memories and because I manage two pages. However, I’m really getting tired of Meta altogether.
I’m back! After an extended break from Bluesky, I’ve decided to return.
I’m considering taking an extended break from Facebook, so I thought I would return here.
How is everyone?
