I don’t care if this line of thinking comes off as naïve or soft. I have been studying social behavior online since the web was born. People who treat online interactions like a game do the same in real life. They should never be put in charge of anything. They are sociopaths.

To be good at trolling online you must be empathetic enough to know how to trigger other people‘s emotions and sociopathic enough not to care about them.
