Thanks for writing another enticing mystery. Lady H and Flo are my favorite odd couple.
I use them for quilting - but also for all sorts of stuff. They are really useful.
Have you considered finding a fabric with hearts printed on it and fussy cutting it for those blocks?
Fusible, raw edge applique is not a sin. And it looks good is done reasonably well. It is YOUR Quilt
I'm not sure if I will save this to using collage or if I will just add some type of border around it and maybe frame it
Carbon fiber has a different sound AND is impervious to weather changes.
A couple of image transfers done with an inkjet print with a gelatine plate. I am sure I will use these in collage soon.

Personally I would use one longer tie and go all the way around and just have the tie come out at the opening it goes in.
It appears to me that there should be two ties one that goes one halfway around the other that goes the other half way around. This will allow you to pull the deposit both ends to close the bag top. you would then tie them
Stitched , woven and quilted.
Art quilt with woven pieces added. Hand and machine stitching.
Does adding the woven pieces on top count as collage?

You could straight up kill someone with one of those. In the first office I worked in, I also had a letter opener that could have been used to eviscerate someone.

Yes, I generally quilt all of my own quilts. I find it easy to do the small art quilts.
An art quilt I made a while back. It is based on another quilt, and that one was based loosely on a painting I did years earlier.
Does that little plate on the front say "99K" ?
I think it is a Singer model 99, judging by the case
What model is this? Those old Singers are bulletproof
