I love my chemo nurses so much. Someone in another chair must be having a birthday today - one nurse cried out in surprise and delight, "It's your birthday?" and the enthusiasm spread like a SoCal wildfire, multiple nurses seeming *genuinely* excited and rushing over to greet the birthday boy/girl.

Trans people may be more likely to be DIAGNOSED, which makes sense to me. They grew up trying to make sense of not feeling the way society said they should, which a) causes stress and b) causes many to try to solve the problem by going to doctors and therapists, which is where diagnoses come from.
