This is outrageous. Worse than that. This administration has shown it will do whatever it needs to do to intimidate or censor a free and independent press, a pillar of a stable and responsible democracy.

I’d love to see this written with names changed and a made up Latin American country substituted in. There would be quite a lot of people who would be “shocked and horrified” by it, who don’t seem to care at all that this is happening right now in the U.S.
