A short sequence I worked on recently, wanted it to feel a bit heavy and quiet by the end

Tried to keep the motion subtle and let the story carry it👥

Not a mutual but hope you don’t mind me jumping in 👀

I’ve got a friend who does really nice D&D character work, tagging them here because they explain their style way better than I can

Hey, I can help with that.
I know my way around WordPress and can put together a portfolio site for you.
What kind of website are you looking for?

Hey! I’m a logo designer and would be glad to help shape something that fits your comic’s tone.

If you have a working title or any initial direction in mind, I’d be happy to discuss and share some ideas.

Thank you for the tag.

Oh gotcha, a messy scene type thing. Pixel art could work really well for that. Are you thinking more like a room setup or something different?

What are you planning to get made? Character sprites, assets, or something else?

Also just a small heads up, there seem to be quite a few fresh accounts replying to posts like this lately, so just be careful when choosing an artist.

That TMNT poster composition is so good, the city perspective + sewer reveal is iconic.
I’m an illustrator and have done some poster-style work before.
If you’re still searching for an artist, I could try recreating a similar style for you.

I might be able to help with this. I’ve done a lot of Marvel-style sketch card work in the past and I’m comfortable working in that Bronze Age superhero look. These are some older commission samples, but they show the kind of style I can work in.

The last step always being the one that gets delayed the most 😅

Hey! What kind of pixel effect are you looking for exactly? Like a censor/mosaic style or more of a retro pixel look? I might be able to help.

Hey, I might be able to help with that. Are you looking for a fully new sculpt of Ancyor’s head for 3D printing, or just converting the existing model so it’s printable? Would love to see the references Mari shared....

Anyway, dropping a few logos i’ve done in case it’s useful..

Saw this on my feed, i'm a 3d artist and i deal with STLs all the time. feel free to hmu if you haven't found someone yet!

It mostly depends on the amount of assets you need. I'll send you a DM right now so we can discuss the details and I can give you a proper quote there.

That’s the way to go, pixel art suits the vibe perfectly. I do a lot of pixel art myself, so I’d love to help out with the capsule.

Hey Dan! The game looks vibrant. I'm interested in the art opportunity. Could you share more details about the specific art style you're aiming for? Are you looking for high-res digital key art or something that stays strictly within the pixel art aesthetic?

Man, i love the GBA PMD look. it’s exactly what i specialize in! i’ve got a bunch of animal-like sprites and walk cycles ready to go.

here’s a quick look at my style, let me know if this is what you’re thinking for the project!

Really dig the direction for exo tomb. I’ve been doing some sci-fi sculpts that might fit the monster/character vibe you're after. especially for miniatures.

posted some work here: bsky.app/profile/work...

Are you mainly trying to push texture quality or fix consistency issues across the materials?

Yeah, that part decides whether the sprite works or not. This kind of thing is a bit easier to figure out in DMs than in comments. If you’re okay with it, we can move this to DMs and go over it properly.

That’s great then. If you feel like sharing the design here or via a link, I’d love to take a look and see how it would translate into Peach’s sprite set.

2 months ago 1 0 1 0

Oh that’s actually a really fun use case for it. Replacing Peach means the sprite has to read clearly in all the poses the game uses for her, not just standing but the little expressions and angles she has throughout the scenes.
Is your VTuber design already finalized?

That’s exactly why I got excited seeing your post. It’s one of those styles where if the pixel decisions aren’t intentional, it immediately falls apart. SMRPG sprites have a very “rule-driven” feel to them rather than just looking cute. Curious what kind of sprites you’re planning for the stream?

2 months ago 1 0 1 0

I do my pixel work entirely by hand and I’m a bit obsessive about clean pixel grids for exactly this reason.
Dropping my portfolio here in case the style lines up with what you’re after: www.behance.net/gallery/2427...

This is such a rare ask ,most people say “pixel art” but SMRPG sprites are a whole different discipline. The isometric angle, the palette limits, the way highlights are placed… it’s very SNES-specific.
