@sianberry.bsky.social and @zoegarbett.bsky.social joined the National Housing Demo to demand rent controls and outline why voting Green on 7th May is a vote for affordable housing.

The Prime Minister knew of Mandelson's friendship with Epstein but chose to appoint him anyway.
As @elliechowns.bsky.social said yesterday: "What is unforgiveable is that he was more concerned with pandering to Donald Trump than with standing with the victims and survivors."
He must resign.
We've now raised £50,000.
Anything you can spare, will go towards challenging this Labour Government and taking the fight to Reform.
And most importantly - to creating the hopeful alternative.
👇🏼
Thank you!
A month on and the Prime Minister is fighting for his survival on a technicality.
But the serious moral failure of appointing Mandelson - despite all that was known back then - was already a resigning issue.
Keir Starmer told us he would be the Prime Minister who restored trust in politics, not the one to leave ministerial ethics in tatters.
No more buck passing and scapegoating, If the Prime Minister has any integrity at all, he must go.
It's clear we need to go much further to combat the corrosive impacts of huge political donations on UK politics.
That means banning crypto donations, yes - but also introducing a cap on individual donations, greater transparency on campaign donations and spending, and more.
Not quite yet - we can still fight this Bill!
This week I’ve been challenging the Govt’s sinister attempts to abolish the right to choose a jury trial.
Here is the Minister confirming that the right to elect a jury trial IS being completely abolished with this Bill!
A fundamental cornerstone of our justice system established in 1670: gone.
Keir Starmer has lied and lied again over his decision to appoint Peter Mandelson. He must resign.
Outrageous if true that senior government officials are considering whether to withhold documents from Parliament that show Mandelson wasn't given security clearance.
The public needs the truth.
We are aware of the BBC’s investigation into individuals allegedly helping people fabricate LGBTQI+ asylum claims. Read the full statement on our website:
Awful to hear about a far right group targeting my constituency for an attention-seeking demonstration.
I won’t give them their goal in that, but stand ready to support any constituents who might face action for opposing hate speech in our inclusive city.
Image shows a judge's gavel. Text reads: One year on: actions you can take The Supreme Court’s For Women Scotland judgement had a devastating impact on the lives of trans people in the UK. Swipe to see what you can do
Today marks one year since the Supreme Court’s For Women Scotland judgement. The Supreme Court told us its ruling would not remove rights from trans people, but it has caused confusion, discrimination and its decision is bleeding across into other legislation with devastating effects.
Standing in solidarity with the trans community after what has been an incredibly tough year.
I will keep the pressure up in Parliament to defend your right to live in dignity, with privacy and respect.
Trans rights are human rights 🏳️⚧️
Extraordinary that nowhere in an article on resilience did PM find space to include the growing threat posed to UK security by the dramatic decline in the health of nature around the world - especially since his own intelligence chiefs have recently spelt it out for him in no uncertain terms 👇
Screenshot is of a Financial Times headline that reads: senior NHS officials warned over criticising rollout of Palantir platform. Subheading reads: ethical objections and uneven adoption have made the tech group’s contract a divisive issue within English health service.
Disturbing. NHS staff should be able to freely raise concerns about the entrenchment of this utterly unethical spy-tech firm in our healthcare system.
The largest municipal healthcare network in the US has dropped Palantir after significant protests.
We must do the same, before it's too late.
Between the Royal Albion Hotel fire and the coach station move, Pool Valley businesses have faced huge disruption.
I have raised these concerns with the council for months, with no result. I hope the area will not overlooked for the investment it urgently needs 👇

"The cost of living crisis is real and immense."
@anthonyslaughter.bsky.social lays out just some of the reasons to vote Green in Wales on 7 May.
We were at Downing Street yesterday to call on the government to scrap the anti-protest laws that put our freedoms at risk. Together with Palestine Solidarity Campaign UK over 40,000 of you signed the petition, so we sent them your message.
@pscupdates.bsky.social #righttoprotest
Image shows Sian with Andy McDonald MP, Kim Johnson MP and campaigners from Friends of the Earth and Palestine Solidarity Campaign. They are stood outside No 10 Downing Street and are handing over a white box containing petitions. It reads: Defend our right to protest.
Together with @friends-earth.bsky.social and @pscupdates.bsky.social, I have handed in petitions signed by over 40,000 people against the Government's sinister proposals that would give police new powers to restrict repeat protest.
Greens will always defend the democratic right to protest.

We visited ‘RAF’ Fairford with a ladder and some ingenuity and saw pallets of 2,000lb bombs being loaded onto US warplanes bound for Iran.

A foul-mouthed promise of massive war crimes, and
still our bases are being offered up to Trump to support his widening war. Why are we still waiting for stronger action from our Prime Minister?
The 2-child benefit cap ends today, but when will the Government listen and scrap the overall benefit cap that means hundreds of thousands of
children are being left without the help they need? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
