Today was amazing. My poetry book positively impacted two friends. All I ever wanted from writing was to help someone like books I’ve read have helped me. To say my heart burst would be an understatement. Then an amazing evening w/my love. The joy in my eyes you can see hasn’t been there for ages.

I know from experience that leaving Substack has a cost. No other platform is as *easy* to get up and running, any time you change platforms, you're going to get significant churn. But, my friends who are on Substack--I don't think it will get easier to leave, might as well do it now.

I miss the Tall Man. The role, the backstory, and, of course, the actor. Phantasm Ravager hits on so many levels for me: friends, family, dementia… Imiss you, Angus. You made a difference.

If miltary people do not have to follow illegal orders, can citizens also not follow illegal rulings from the Supreme Court that suggest hate is right and discredited science is fact?
