If you’re walking the #LondonLoop, now is a good time to tackle section 4. So beautiful and worth the long, dull winter months.

Marc Guehi. England captain. 💪
We tried to tell you… 🤷♂️
#ThreeLions #CPFC
Palace fans could have told you four years ago that Marc Guehi would captain England one day
Today is the spring equinox in London roughly day and night are of equal length. From tomorrow days will be longer than nights and this will continue until September 25th.
Happy St Patrick’s Day, ☘️
May your day bring small glimmers of luck, gentle moments, and a little peace in your heart
If today feels heavy, I’m sending you a soft paw of comfort… you’re not alone
And if you find a pot of gold
you know who to share it with
Air pollution levels are expected to become very high overnight and through Friday morning across swathes of SE and East Anglia. Hazardous air for vulnerable groups.
A combination of pollution from mainland Europe and Saharan dust. Cleaner N winds will arrive later in the day
MP calls for action on ticket prices 💸
The Parliamentary Motion backs our #StopExploitingLoyalty campaign and says "working class and young supporters are being priced out".
Well said @ianbyrnemp.bsky.social

I get a different screen each time I try. This morning I wasn’t eligible to buy (I’m a ST holder). I immediately retried and got in. Yesterday I was only eligible for Premium tickets.😵💫
As it happens, Storch has come close to buying several English Football League (EFL) clubs. "We started focusing on US sports and then we started looking at English football about two-and-a-half years ago," he said. "We've given serious consideration to three different clubs. We did go down the path with Rob Couhig at Reading. We took a look at Blackpool, although we quickly dismissed that one. "Then we submitted an offer team with Gareth Bale to buy Cardiff City and actually reached agreement with Vincent Tan to purchase the club. Unfortunately, he decided to hold on and we never got that transaction complete."
This is what happens when US venture capital is the only buyers of football clubs: historic entities of the stature of Sheffield Wednesday become third choice investment opportunities, just a line item on a spreadsheet to be disposed off if it does not produce the required returns.
With so much AI-generated imagery about, being a self-employed illustrator can feel a bit daunting.
To support someone who takes a couple of days to produce each illustration, please head over to matthewjiwood.com and take a look, or simply share this post - both hugely appreciated.

Recently, somewhat against my will, I went to try the "Sticky Toffee Pudding Pizza" (pt 1)
The days are getting longer and the weather is improving. Midweek we see a plume of rather warm air, seeing potential of 18/19C in east on Wednesday with uninterrupted sunshine.

It’s nuts. I wish they would focus on the basics, like improving transcriptions.
I’ve seen a few howlers recently.
Man who moved abroad to avoid hundreds of millions of pounds of tax and whose business have benefited from hundreds of millions of pounds of public funds believes that, 'Britain has been "colonised" by immigrants, who are draining resources from the state.'
I hate 7.30 kick offs!
Happy Birthday Ben 😘🎉🥳🎂🎁🎈
Reform UK threatens to cut funding for Welsh university after debating society bans party from campus
want to go to Bangor University' said nobody ever. Especially if Bangor University is stripped of government funding and student loan facilities by @reformparty_uk Is that "in line with your values,' poppets?
This is pretty menacing.
Sarah Pochin wrote to Bangor's university student run debating society requesting that she attend to "answer questions from students."
When they said "no" Reform rolled all it's tanks onto the lawns and said they'll cut funding to the entire university if they win.
I don't believe that all mental health challenges are downstream of politics but I've been finding it increasingly rough, watching autism & ADHD turned into a new theatre of the culture wars. The hit pieces on SEN kids, the endless badly-researched columns on 'overdiagnosis' - I feel really crushed.
Next Sunday marks 15 years since Larry the Cat was appointed Chief Mouser. A pillar of continuity in a transient political age.
I agree. While I can view the image with an extra click, I dislike the implication that the transcription is more useful to me than the original document which is an odd take for a website used by researchers.
Since when are tv camera men allowed onto the pitch after a goal?!
Not only do we VAR taking over, for the sake of the tv viewers we have them encroaching on pitch with no respect for the hallowed turf
Really? This season he's given 2 red cards in PL games, 1 to Palace. He's given 7 yellows to Palace, 2 more than the next highest club. He's awarded 2 penalties against Palace in 3 games, the highest per game. Overall isn't much better - highest pens and yellows per game among current PL sides.
Worth remembering when looking at the horrific scenes in the US right now that both Reform and the Tories have pledged to bring in ICE-style organisations to the UK if they win power

Oh yes. Football traffic meets local rush hour. Awful for supporters and locals alike. 😩
Following Liam Rosenior's appointment by Chelsea, the statement released by the RC Strasbourg's supporters association. "A new, humiliating step in Racing's subjugation by Chelsea...The future of French football is at stake".
Yes it does. Winter has some pleasures when we have crisp clear skies. That and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Feel for those struggling with this cold though.
