This is superb and the acting from the leads Toby Jones and Harry Lawtey is first class. Anyone rehearsing for either a play or singing can also learn a lot about projection and the use of the diaphragm breathing 😉 www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
There’s a lot written about leadership & teamwork but the HEMS crews are one of the best examples, anywhere, of how to operate at the sharp end of practice.
Made this for BBC Radio 4 about the people who make it happen. 11am GMT today or find it here:

I heard this for the first time yesterday. Superb. Whilst currently teaching on a trauma course reiterates the number of people involved from pre-hospital to rehabilitation. A lovely nod to the team at King’s College Hospital on Katherine Monk Ward before the patient eventually went home. 👏👏👏
A wonderful visual illustration of what we heard and concluded today at South East London Palliative and End of Life Care Event. Lots to do to make a difference #LearningDisabilityWeek #PrideMonth #AdvanceCarePlanning #childrenshospiceweek #NoBarriersHere

♻️ Patients can now return crutches and metal walking sticks in the collection bin outside the Golden Jubilee Wing, King’s College Hospital.
The aids will be inspected, cleaned, and reused, helping #ReduceWaste and #CarbonEmissions while improving access for others.

Would really like Timothee Chalamet to win
Agree completely he is fantastic in the role.
I heard they were excellent last night albeit that does not come as a surprise. Wonderful to have them at ‘home’
A wonderful programme this morning with @stephenmangan.bsky.social
and a lovely way to celebrate his parents

Oh Dylan original then 😉
Mum saw Dylan at the Albert Hall during that 1962-1966 time😉
Really hoping Chalamet gets Oscar! Loved the film and my mum who handed down her love of Dylan thought it was great too…and still has her Free Wheelin LP 😉
Excellent article on impact of loneliness on recovery of older people leaving hospital. @nihr.bsky.social

Oh the film is brilliant isn’t it. I saw with my mum (84) and nephew (22). We loved it and my mum remembers seeing both Dylan and Seeger in the mid 60’s!
Lovely short break at home. A few favourites revisited and the garden at home beginning to show the promise of spring. #Truro #Cornwall @nationaltrust.bsky.social
I have just listened. Can’t wait to see it. Going with my mum and nephew next week to the Plaza Truro. My mum is a huge fan of Dylan and was in London when he was first emerging…she has the albums! They are the same age.
Absolutely loving this book #TrelawnysCornwall Not just because I grew up in #Truro. The time and experiences also resonate. Especially going off to Helston Flora. The time when we all wished we had been born there! @petroc.bsky.social

Met up with friends who I have known since we started our registered nurse training at Bart’s 38 years ago! Four of us are still nursing and the fifth is volunteering with a children’s charity.
Air Ambulance. Radio 4, New Year’s Eve, 8pm. A behind the scenes look at the work of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex as we follow the crew of Helimed 21 during a busy shift. Have a listen while you’re getting your glad rags on or catch it on BBC Sounds. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
A Christmas gift from my mum. Fabulous to read a reference to Bishop Bill Ind. The loveliest Bishop I have known who did my dad’s eulogy Truro Cathedral in 2010 😊 The first Bishop to receive the Trelawny Plate- for his outstanding contribution to Cornwall. Thank you Petroc
