On the sacrificial system in the Old Testament:
Sin always says “your sin is not destructive.”
When the sinner slays the sacrifice, the action shows that “my sin destroys God’s unblemished creation.”
Long lay the world in sin and error pining, till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
Where the curse itself has been cursed, and so reversed.
For on that cross, the fiery serpent also struck one who was without sin, and so justice demands the curse be undone, that death be reversed.
Hide me in this one without sin, and raise me to life with him.
What do you think of this prayer for propitiation using imagery from Numbers 21:
Lord, be propitious to me, a sinner. I have sinned and so been bitten by the fiery serpent. I am infected with death.
Let me look upon the cross, where the serpent has been hung. /

Out humanity is not defined by how many organs we have or their functionality. If I lose a kidney, I am not less human. All human beings are clumps of cells. You are and I am. Parasites are a different species
Correct, laws against murder do not stop all murders. But they certainly stop many murders, and murder should definitely be illegal.

There are more couples willing to adopt than kids to be adopted
It is already illegal to kill kids with weapons.
But it is legal to kill children by dismemberment, starvation, or lethal injection with poison.
Basic biology is that a new human being exists at fertilization.

The only “forced birth” in this discussion is abortion: the forced birth of a murdered son or daughter.
When we say a woman is “with child” what do we mean? She’s pregnant.
It’s not about prioritizing either mom or baby over one another. Should be illegal to kill either.
The killing of children is everyone’s business.
